Doubtless, you have come here from FanFiction.net, or perhaps not. In any case, it is likely that you are interested in my stories. Some people seem to like to write about how they began to write, or why they write. I am not sure if anyone is interested in such things, but it seems apropos to do so – if you don't like it, you can just skim onwards.
I have always enjoyed writing stories and reading them, and I was always very well-aware of the fact that there “is nothing new under the sun”. Even the most original of stories took other elements and blended and merged them together to make something new. Accordingly, my own honesty lead me towards fanfiction, although I do tend to write stories which have a very strong contingent of “OCs” and which expand on the established universe and personalities a great deal. I am not a huge writer of “AU” fanfiction, instead desiring to stick to the “prime directive” of fanfiction writers; put things back where you found them.
Many of my stories involve philosophy and theology, and most – if not all – are pretty much examples of “smuggling ideology” in one form or another. People say that I do that very well, and that my action scenes are good and gripping. So, you know what you are getting from me – I'm surprised I have never written any Matrix fanfiction, especially as it stars Monica Bellucci . . . |
