The Golden Age which seemed evident at the end of Return of the Jedi has never materialized. Instead, Luke Skywalker's nephew Jacen Solo has fallen to the Dark Side, costing Luke everything he held dear. All that remains now are Jacen's children, Thane and Merit. In order to prevent the heartache of the last seventy years, Thane and Merit, along with Aidan and Amidala Kenobi, are sent into the past. Anakin Skywalker has just been discovered on Tatooine.
