    Muses 'R' Us

    Muses 'R' Us was the brain child of Melanie, and is featured heavily in her series of cross-over fanfiction stories “The Adventures of the FanFiction Fellowship”. It is a non-profit organization run for the benefit of authors everywhere.

    Do you sometimes run out of inspiration? Or run out of paper towels? Or just run out of the room screaming like a freshman girl during a dissection lecture? It sounds like you need a muse. Or, rather, Mel wants you to think you need a muse, because then her basement wouldn't be quite as full as it is now.

    Muses are canon characters who aid their authors in writing stories by providing inspiration, perspiration and vexation – and generally not in that order. Muses are required to offer advice on spelling, plot, characterization, action scenes, and periodically cut loose in Hooters and the Texas Roadhouse (for the guys) and in the mall (for the girls).
