Because of her ability to irritate him as much as he irritates her, she eventually earns his respect and vice-versa. It’s Arianna’s love of music (just about any kind) that truly defines her. When she’s not on duty, she can often be found in the Atlantis rec-room, playing the piano that John Sheppard somehow managed to get the SGC to ship them, or on one of the balconies with Sheppard, where he teaches her guitar.

Actually plucked from the video game ‘Lord of the Rings: The Third Age’, Idrial has basically been expanded upon by Melanie. The niece of Lord Erestor of Rivendell, she resides in Lothlorien and seems to take odd pleasure in going against the conventional role of elleths. It is perhaps the fact that she is Unconventional that enables Haldir to regard her as one of his few female friends. Her father Valandil and her brother Aranel have seen to it that she is well-trained in combat. Only Haldir and Legolas can outshoot her with a bow and only Haldir has ever bested her in close combat. Her weakness, however, is her desire to be so much like her best friend, Arwen. When she is sent on a mission to help a mysterious stranger from Gondor, will she try to emulate the choices of the Evenstar? The wrong choice could mean her downfall...and the destruction of Haldir.

A persistent character who would not be denied her existence unless Melanie wanted to go batty, Aravyn Sola Kenobi is the daughter of Obi-Wan and Padme Amidala. To say she was….unexpected is probably the understatement of the century for her parents. As a Force-sensitive, she is trained along with her half-brother Luke in the ways of the Jedi by their father. Her passionate nature comes from her mother, her wry humor from her father, and her patience from both of them. Aravyn’s little quirks have often been a source of amusement/despair for Obi-Wan, such as the time she requested that her lightsaber be a ‘rainbow’. Fifteen during the events of Star Wars: A New Hope, Aravyn manages to make her own impact on the drama that begins to unfold.

An innkeeper on the off-season, this spy has what he likes to think is a mysterious past. It is unknown who he spies for, and really, who he's spying on, but that just might be proof of his abilities. Able to speak seven languages and integrate himself in almost any social class, he really only does anything if he finds it interesting. He's a companion of Astraia Caspian and Jin as they race to take the magical book the Draycillys to safety. He is a consummate charmer, and flirts with beautiful women wherever he goes. He's also something of a pathological liar, though it is unclear if he does it for personal gain or if he gets a kick out of fooling people.

The only daughter of Dominik Kristatos and the heir to the Kristatos Factory, Cleopatra was never going to be a girly girl. Her first toys were nuts and bolts, her first playroom the greasy echoing space of the Factory and her first playmates her father's mechanics. As the years have passed, she has grown into not only an accomplished mechanic but a beautiful woman - and it is both of these things which attact her fiance.

An old friend of Vladimir Hunyadi's father and the Master of the Kristatos 'mech Factory to the north of Rome, Dominik is a powerful man in his own sphere. Along with his daughter, he runs one of the best Factories in Italy and provides services to many of the 'mech warriors who pass through the Eternal City - including his future son-in-law.

Jeran Lars is the son of Owen and Beru. He is a year older than Luke Skywalker and, unlike his cousin, is not a Force-sensitive. Despite his father's irritation and annoyance at his son's choice of friends, Jaren is a constant companion of Obi-Wan Kenobi. His association with the Jedi Master is perhaps down to his desire to learn more about the wider galaxy beyond Tatooine - or perhaps simply to spend time with Kenobi's daughter, Aravyn. Despite her irritation at his earnest pursuit, Jaren has proven to be a tenacious suitor. What will come of this remains to be seen . . .

A former member of the Vatican Swiss Guard, Toby LeGuin was recruited by Susan Pevensie for her organization shortly after the fall of the N.I.C.E. But, depending on whether a particular train crashed or not, he either became her chauffeur and bodyguard, or one of her Dark Apostles. In either case, his loyalty is without question and he is a fighter without peer.

Perhaps technically-speaking an OC, Lothiriel is the Queen of Rohan after the events of "The Lord of the Rings" - but she has no lines in the story and never appears in either the book or the film. A proud and sophisticated woman, she was married to King Eomer for political expediency and initially does not love her husband. But, as time passes, that may change . . .

The ruler of the Eldest Daughter of the Church and a good man in a bad situation, Henri (as he is known to his friends) is a long-time ally of Vladimir Hunyadi - and enjoys a close relationship with a particular ambassador's neice.

Vandalyn didn’t set out to take on Jedi Master Qui-Gon Jinn as her lover, but sometimes the Force moves the Universe in highly unlikely ways. She learned – and she taught Qui-Gon – that it is possible to be a Jedi and still feel complex emotions like love. She teetered on the edge of the Dark Side after Darth Maul killed Qui-Gon, but Qui-Gon’s Force Ghost helped her remain centered and whole.

Vandalyn's relationship with Qui-Gon has been treated as semi-canonical by Darknight for his Star Wars series of stories.

But it is perhaps her beauty and grace - and not her 'mech Hagane-Kochou, Steel-Butterfly - that give her the true power, for the King has his eye on her for reasons other than her utility in war. A friend of Lady Jane Gray and Lady Monica Hunyadi, she quickly becomes involved in the Reconquête Français du Pierre led by Vladimir Hunyadi.

One of the “quiet ones you need to watch” Artemis didn’t start many fights when she was at Hogwart’s, but she certainly finished them. And she did it with typical Slytherin panache. After having a crush on Severus Snape for a long time, Artemis finally managed to get Severus to ask her out. They stayed a couple for many years, until Severus’ unrequited feelings for Lily Evans eventually destroys their relationship, and she left him. Artemis, however, never stopped loving Severus and in the final confrontation between Voldemort’s forces and the rest of the wizarding world, that love makes all the difference.

Palomnus the faun was first introduced to Peter and Edmund on the eve of the Battle of Beruna. He volunteered to attend them as their aide-de-camp and made certain both boys were ready to face the Witch and her army that morning. Following the restoration of Narnia at Cair Paravel, it became apparent that while fond of both kings, Palomnus held a special regard for Peter. He was eventually asked to serve as the High King’s sole valet and aide, and he fulfilled his duty faithfully and well throughout the Golden Age, even going as far as travelling with Peter on his many military campaigns.

A beautiful demi-goddess who chose to save Boromir and transport him to modern Earth, Pelagia has revealed herself to only two mortals: Boromir himself and the reincarnation of Gimli, Ronan Daly. Not even her Campbell Champions (the Rafferty sisters and Elena Gutierrez) have ever seen the entity who has pledged herself to their protection, and the protection of those they hold dear. While time does not move in a linear fashion for Pelagia and her brethren, she has still learned from the mistakes of others who have brought warriors of the past into the present. Powerful though she is, Pelagia cannot see the future clearly. She can only sense that something terrible is coming. . .and hope that her Champions will be strong enough to defeat it.

The wife of Peter Pevensie in "The Redemption of Sulva", a force for evil in "The Land of Make-Believe" and a powerful witch in both tales, Bronwyn is a complex character who is – for a time – poorly understood by her husband's family. Her redemption and journey to the light is a major theme of the second part of "The Redemption of Sulva" and enables the story to explore a number of important questions concerning religion which Lewis raised in “That Hideous Strength”.

Formerly a nurse and now the wife of Peter Pevensie and the mother of their three children, Meg is tough, absolutely fearless, sometimes a bit severe, bossy, and outspoken (the kind who will give you the bird if you cut her off in traffic), but also practical, organized, efficient, generous, kind, funny and absolutely someone you want, and are proud to have, on your team. An alternate version of Meg appears in "The Redemption of Sulva" - a military "expert in enhanced interrogation techniques".

Edmund Pevensie's wife and the mother of his son, Maureen is the sort of person with whom one has a cup of tea and chats the afternoon away. If you need help, she will give it gladly, and she considers her specialties listening and offering comfort - sometimes advice. Her quietly cheerful outlook and friendly demeanor make people feel at ease in her company, but she tends to shy away from conflict and is more of follower than a leader. Shamelessly stolen by Darknight as Edmund's personal assistant for "The Redemption of Sulva".

The youngest of Pelagia's Champions, Kristin was Boromir's first contact upon arriving in modern times, and it was she who alerted her older sister Megan and Elena to his presence. She also played an instrumental part in convincing the pair to return to Campbell with the displaced warrior. A pre-med student with an interest in general practice, Kristin is frequently impatient with what she views as stupidity, and often fails to take things into consideration.

Marine Gunnery Sergeant (retired) Gavin Rafferty has spent nearly his entire life protecting others. . .his family, his unit, his country and beyond. Though no longer active duty, Gavin's scars remain, including his divorce from his high maintenance wife, who cared more about saying she was married to a Marine than actually being a good wife to said Marine, and his strained relationship with his nineteen year old son Reece, to say nothing of his insane birth mother, who has no qualms of getting rid of any woman who gets close to Gavin. . .however she can. The reincarnation of Aragorn Elessar, Gavin takes it upon himself to guide Boromir as he settles into his new life in Campbell.

A slight, dark-haired young woman in her early thirties, Megan has devoted her life to protecting others, whether that was her younger sister or the town where she was born and raised. Not a devout woman, Megan nonetheless finds her beliefs called into question when Boromir's mysterious benefactor, Pelagia reveals herself. She's quiet, reserved, and fiercely determined. . .with a decided soft spot for children, animals, and the wounded Gondorian now living in her apartment.

Fandom was in Aubrey's blood. Raised by two dedicated fans of fantasy, and Tolkien in particular, Aubrey continued the tradition, being a fangirl of Legolas in particular. When an accident involving a can of Fresca and an electrical outlet in her dorm at her boarding school causes Legolas to materialize in front of her, Aubrey takes full advantage of the situation. An aspiring writer and something of a daydreamer, she soon finds herself falling in love for real with the handsome elf, much to her chagrin, as Fresca has a habit of popping Legolas between worlds at random. Aubrey is smart, and loves nothing more than to spend an evening watching some bad movie with her friends. She firmly believes she will one day publish a book, and she is quite vocal in her likes and dislikes in regards to literature and movies and music.

Merry is, to put it bluntly, completely insane. It took awhile for the Fellowship of the Fanatics to warm up to her, as her antics were rather odd and off-putting until they got to know her. She is the one who dubbed the five friends with the moniker of the Fanatics, though Julie and Heather could care less about fantasy and Lord of the Rings. Not only did she take great delight in Legolas' appearance at Dawnsend, but when she tried to send Legolas and Aubrey on their honeymoon to Middle-earth, she instead was sent to the pirate ship the Black Pearl, and found herself hobnobbing with Will Turner, Commodore Norrington, and of course everyone's favorite pirate Captain Jack. She and Jack get along famously, causing mayhem and hilarity, but Will greatly dislikes her, due to an incident in Tortuga involving his manhood. Commodore Norrington is sort of afraid of her, until she starts being her annoying self and they quite often bicker worse than Haldir and Heather. However, Merry bickers for the sole reason that it amuses her. She is a history teacher in training, certain to strike terror in the hearts of teenagers everywhere.

She goes back in time for one purpose and one purpose only: to avert the heartbreak and bloodshed of both Jedi Purges and the falls of the Republic. Falling in love never entered into the picture. But the Force has a will of its own, and all servants of the Force were Chosen for something.

Tall and handsome, Thane is Merit's older brother and the first-born child of Jacen Solo. Named for both his grandfather and his great-uncle Luke, he has characteristics of both (though it's up for debate if he inherited their better qualities). Thane's life was upended at the age of thirteen, when he saw his mother and grandparents murdered in front of him by his father's troops. He has sworn two oaths: the first, his oath as a Jedi. The second. . .to protect his little sister at all costs.

Good girls always seem to go for the bad boys, or so they say. Jessie probably wouldn't consider herself truly a "good" girl, but she surely has a soft spot for bad boy Bobby Mercer. TJ is, technically, Melanie's first OC. Assigned to the SGC as the second in command of SG23, TJ receives her field training with SG1. She is initially very open in her immediate dislike of Daniel Jackson, but when the two are captured off-world by a Goa'uld the SGC has never dealt with before, a bond of friendship is formed through their ordeal, which later blossoms into romance. Full of contradictions, TJ is more than able to take care of herself in hand-to-hand combat and can disassemble and reassemble a P-90 faster than anyone else on her team. Yet, when she has down time, she is most usually found classic Hollywood films, especially musicals, or her favorite romance film 'Somewhere in Time'. Much to Daniel's chagrin, she is quite enamored of the young James Garner and he has often found himself thrown over for a viewing of 'The Rockford Files' or 'Support Your Local Sheriff'.
