Almyra's Original Characters
Almyra has created several original characters, some of whom are borrowed with increasing frequency by Darknight.
|
Name: Jonathan
Fandom : Narnia
Appears in : "The Land of Make Believe"
Quote: “Then, sir, we will give them the bayonet!”
Created by: Almyra
Sent from the destroyed Narnia to guide the High King and the Just King through the Land of Make Believe, Jonathan is a prophet of sorts and is above all things supremely faithful to his Lord, Aslan. A former Narnian army officer, he can be difficult, exacting, and secretive, and he relates far better to children and their simplicity than to adults and their complexity. A brilliant tactician and daring strategist, he expects others to be as doggedly persistent and deeply disciplined as he is himself, and despite the danger, he is exactly the man to see Peter and Edmund and their families safely Home. |

Name: Palomnus
Fandom : Narnia
Appears in : "The Armor of Aslan", "A Cup of Cambric Tea", "Live and Let Live", "For Ever Kneel'd", "For Whom the Bell Tolls", "Call of the Western Wild", "King Edmund's Crusade" and is mentioned briefly in "Beautiful Letdown"

Quote: “Well then, we can’t have that, now can we?”
Created by: Almyra
Palomnus the faun was first introduced to Peter and Edmund on the eve of the Battle of Beruna. He volunteered to attend them as their aide-de-camp and made certain both boys were ready to face the Witch and her army that morning. Following the restoration of Narnia at Cair Paravel, it became apparent that while fond of both kings, Palomnus held a special regard for Peter. He was eventually asked to serve as the High King’s sole valet and aide, and he fulfilled his duty faithfully and well throughout the Golden Age, even going as far as travelling with Peter on his many military campaigns.
Name: Margaret (Meg) Elizabeth Pevensie (nee Schillair)
Fandom : Narnia
Appears in : "The Song of the Phoenix", "St. George's Day", "Bus Stop", "The Land of Make Believe" and "The Redemption of Sulva"
Quote : “Oh, stop whining; it's just a scratch. You're hardly even bleeding.”
Created by: Almyra
Formerly a nurse and now the wife of Peter Pevensie and the mother of their three children, Meg is tough, absolutely fearless, sometimes a bit severe, bossy, and outspoken (the kind who will give you the bird if you cut her off in traffic), but also practical, organized, efficient, generous, kind, funny and absolutely someone you want, and are proud to have, on your team. An alternate version of Meg appears in "The Redemption of Sulva" - a military "expert in enhanced interrogation techniques".
Name: Maureen Anne Pevensie (nee Dowling)
Fandom : Narnia
Appears in : "Chance Encounter", "Bus Stop", "The Land of Make Believe" and "The Redemption of Sulva"
Quote : “Come here, Eddie, your bowtie is crooked.”
Created by: Almyra
Edmund Pevensie's wife and the mother of his son, Maureen is the sort of person with whom one has a cup of tea and chats the afternoon away. If you need help, she will give it gladly, and she considers her specialties listening and offering comfort - sometimes advice. Her quietly cheerful outlook and friendly demeanor make people feel at ease in her company, but she tends to shy away from conflict and is more of follower than a leader. Shamelessly stolen by Darknight as Edmund's personal assistant for "The Redemption of Sulva". |
|
Name: Rua, the Morrigan
Fandom : Narnia
Appears in : "For Ever Kneel'd"
Quote : “Come, my lover, my champion...”
Created by: Almyra
The evil witch of the Island of Murano, banished there by the power of Aslan, Rua is a dark and dangerous opponent - particularly for Peter Pevensie. She uses all her sorcerous enchantments and feminine whiles in an attempt to seduce him and bring him to darkness - an attempt which very nearly succeeds... |
